What is Paint Correction and why do I need it?
Paint Correction is the process of removing imperfections in a vehicle's finish. This can include a variety of issues and causes such as Swirl marks, Deep Scratches, Paint overspray, Oxidation, bird dropping stains, and more. This process can take a significant amount of time, usually between 6-12 hours but is not uncommon to take upwards of 50+ hours for extremely neglected vehicles. Paint correction is performed by using various polishing machines, compounding/polishing pads, and many different levels of abrasives. Sometimes even sandpaper. Our process is different for every vehicle. Variables such as paint hardness, thickness, and severity of imperfections play a role in how long a job takes. Every vehicle requires a different process or combination of machines.

The Paint Correction process begins with a thorough wash and decontamination of the paint. Products such as a clay bar, and iron decon spray will be used to rid the surface of bonded contaminates that would otherwise hinder the correction process. After full decontamination is done we are left with a smooth surface that also reveals the true nature of the paint.

During the process of Paint Correction, we will use many different polishes, and pads to achieve the optimal level of clarity. Whether it be an enhancement, one step, or multiple stage correction we will follow up by removing all polishing residue and prepping the surface for your choice of protectant. We have different levels of packages depending on the budget, and level of correction desired. Once the car is prepped we will apply a high-quality paint sealant or wax which will protect the vehicle from the elements. For long-term protection consider adding one of our ceramic coatings.
Benefits of Paint Correction
